About NudgeName

NudgeName is a free reminder name generator: pick a purpose and a tone, get creative names for your alarms, calendar events and habit trackers. No signup, no fees.

Why it exists

A notification labeled 'Alarm' is easy to ignore; one labeled 'Water you waiting for? Drink!' is hard to. NudgeName exists to make the label field the easiest part of your system: 144 original names across eight purposes, shuffled randomly, ready to copy.

How it works

A small JavaScript program runs entirely in your browser, drawing from a fixed bank of original names and shuffling them with crypto.getRandomValues(). Click-to-copy, copy-all and .txt download all happen on your device. No backend, nothing stored or tracked.

What it is not

NudgeName does not set alarms, give medical advice, or replace your calendar app. Generated names are motivational labels. Medication schedules come from your clinician or pharmacist, not from a name generator.

We ignore what is generic and notice what is specific. A named reminder is a small act of self-respect.

House rules

• All names are original and free for personal use.
• Keep shared-calendar names professional.
• No accounts, no tracking, no dark patterns.
